Vikas Sarthi visualizes transforming the un-progressive traditional and outdated rural environment by following the principles of non-violence, egalitarianism and participatory democracy, intern self –reliance amongst the poor and marginalized community of the society.
Mission
Vikas Sarthi aims at creating a socio – economic and cultural environment of the rural society that would ensure individual freedom, equality, social justice, empowerment, communal harmony and an esteemed and elated means of decent living in order to provide support to flood affected community and proper health care to women and child.
Key Objective
The organization belief to attain the vision through the following objective(s) as listed below…
To mobilize, motivate, aware and organize village community, people especially the weaker & marginalized sections to empower them to fight for their legitimate demands related to Education, Health (RCH, SRH Adolescence Health), land, water, livelihood and other development issues]
To assemble and extend necessary support to victims during natural calamity.
To facilitate local CBO’s by providing best tools of management, monitoring and evaluation and best
Practices in the operational areas.
To do advocacy with different stakeholders for and on behalf of the weaker sections (poor and resource less) of population to help making the system sensitized for their (weaker sections) issues and concerns.
To conduct survey and various kind of research based activities and publish in order to bring out the fact existing the society for strategic planning, action and to attain the set objective(s).
Making social change more visible by collective action, decision making process and community participation.
